About EMU Men's Lacrosse
The Eastern Michigan men's lacrosse team is the intercollegiate club men's lacrosse program representing Eastern Michigan University. The school competes at the Division II level of the Midwest Conference in the National College Lacrosse League (NCLL).
The team, which was originally founded in 2000, began playing in Division II of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) in the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association (CCLA) in 2003 making the conference finals that season (ultimately losing to Calvin College). The team halted play after the 2010 season.

In the fall of 2013, student-athletes Ryan Biddlecombe and Tyler Foote petitioned the school to reform the team which re-entered play in the spring of 2014 and have been playing ever since. In 2018, the team competed for the first-time in the NCLL Conference Championship Semi-Finals losing to eventual conference champ Akron.

As a way to stay connected to the sport's roots and honor its Native American heritage, since 2015 members of the team makes an annual pilgrimage to the Wyandotte Nation in Oklahoma to take part in a youth lacrosse camp put on by tribal leaders as part of The Gathering of Little Turtles event held each summer. The team wears the Wynadotte turtle emblem on their uniforms to commemorate this relationship and honor the game's heritage.
